Riells Beach, the seaside promenade alongside this beach is dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s book The Little Prince. The area offers a wide range of bars, restaurants, shops and other businesses. The beach is the site for many events during the summer months , and a craftwork fair is set up in the evenings.
On the eastern edge of the beach there is L’Escala’s recreational and fishing port (Port de la Clota), while one entrance to the open sea swimming leading to the Port d’en Perris beach, is to the west.
